Door Canopies
Door canopies and porch canopies are a great way to spice up the front of your cottage, semi-detached or detached house no matter where you live.With many stylish designs available and most door canopies available to install on a D.I.Y basis there is no excuse if a canopy is what you really want on the front of your home.
The above canopy is a pitched roof apex design and is the most common form of canopy. However, there are many other designs and styles that will suit your home.
This design is a low profile apex, designed for installation in areas where a high pitched roof might be inappropriate or impractical. The design is intended to be much more subtle to keep with the modest aesthetic of a traditional style home - as opposed to the more flamboyant designs available.The lower material cost of this canopy also makes the canopy cheaper and easier to install by hand. All canopies are provided with the necessary tools and instructions to successfully install the canopy yourself provided you have a reasonable level of fitness and strength. If you are in any doubt on your ability to perform heavy manual work and use a heavy power drill then do not attempt to put up the canopy. If you do decide to put up the canopy then do not attempt to do this alone. Always use the proper ladder with supports and an able body to support any heavy weight or the ladder during installation.
